I love BYOB Place. Yes, this is one! They have good combo for sashimi and sushi. We order both of combo, udon, tofu, and extra sashimi. It is so fresh and sushi has great balance between rice and fish. Price is ok.

And also i like it that this is not too busy. You can gat a table right away.

Of course, Will be back next time

Hachi is my favorite place for good sushi. Ive been coming here since they've opened the place.
From what I understand, Mr. Lee, the head chef/owner trained in japan as a sushi chef, and you can tell he maintains the authenticity and traditions of sushi making.
my favorite dish to get is the top ten dinner special. For people who like rich pieces of sushi, the top ten comes with 2-3 different kinds to toro/fatty tuna which are my favorite.
For people who are new to sushi or like combinations of flavors, the special rolls are the way to go.
When I'm in the mood for cooked food, I like to get their managers special. It includes a great combination of udon noodles, sushi, and fried tempura.
The fried tempura is very light and tasty compared to when tempura can feel greasy and heavy.
lastly the noodles really hit the spot when your looking for that satisfying comfort food in the cold weather.
I find that after all the years of coming here, no matter what I get, it always has that great consistent quality.

Hachi is right by my house so it's the perfect spot to go when I am needing a quick sushi fix. I've been there both for lunch and dinner. They seem to be very busy on weekdays when people stop by during their work lunch breaks. The quality and freshness of the sushi is good for it's price. I recommend ordering a few pieces of each fish and a special roll or 2. $35 for the top ten sushi, 10 pieces recommended by the chef & a roll is an absolute steal. The regular tuna roll is delicious and I love their hamachi! Get a few pieces of that. And bring a bottle of sake or 2. BYOB!

Hachi is a Japanese Restaurant located in Fort Lee, New Jersey, not far from the entrance to the George Washington Bridge. It's located at a shopping plaza that includes a sizable Hmart and several other stores. We ate inside a decent sized dining room which could probably hold 40 to 50 diners. We came here after trying a delicious take out order of their deluxe chirashi costing nearly $30. Since it was lunch, we tried their lunch specials.

I had the deluxe sushi entrée lunch special ($15) and my friend had a salmon teriyaki bento box ($13). The sushi came with 7 pieces and a spicy tuna roll, plus soup and salad. The salmon teriyaki came with shumai, salad, soup and a California roll. Surprisingly, the bento box didn't come with a bowl of rice which was very disappointing.

Coming here, we had high expectations because of their superlative chirashi. I found that the sushi was spot on. Everything was fresh and well made. Especially notable was the spicy tuna roll which contained chunks of creamy tuna in a fresh nori roll. There were no fillers! As for the bento box, the salmon was well grilled and charred.

We ordered an additional dish, which was the salmon yaki udon. I felt it was good as it had neutral flavors, with just enough saltiness to satisfy. Although the shrimp was not plentiful, the ones provided were large.

We knew coming in that sushi would be a few bucks more than your normal sushi joint and we were happy with the quality that was provided. The service was adequate and the waiters happily agreed to split our checks. I would definitely come here again if the opportunity presented itself!
